Asia refiners buy 1.3-mil b/d of June WAF sweets

Singapore- Asian refiners have,collectively,bought at least 41 West African sweet crude cargoes of 0.9-1.0-mil bbf each for June lifting,a Plaits survey of traders showed Wednesday,This volume equates to around 1.298-mil b/d,the typical baseload demand in Asia,though it is a little over some traders' expectations for the month.Despite a wide Brent/Dubai cash spread this month,Asian refiners have little alternative to sourcing large volumes of sweets from regular suppliers of West African grades,priced on Dated Brent quotes.
