OPEC sees world oil demand averaging 77.17-mil b/d in 2003, a 620,000 b/d increase on its 2002 estimate of 76.55-mil b/d, according to a report released Jan 24 by the cartel's Vienna secretariat. But non-OPEC supply is expected to grow by 830,000 b/d year-on-year, leaving little room for OPEC members to icnrease their share of the world oil market.
