Observations of delayed all-optical routing in a slow-light regime

We report the observation of a delayed all-optical routing using an ultraslow-light phenomenon in a defectedsolid medium. Unlike simultaneously enhanced slow-light-based four-wave mixing processes, the presentobservation demonstrates on-demand delayed all-optical routing via the direct retrieval of atomic coherencestrongly coupled with the slow light.
