Extrusions: Demand expected to rise 2-5% in 2014

Despite the uncertainties of health care reform in the US and widespread nasty weather, North American extruders are increasingly optimistic about 2014. The consensus forecast for North American extrusion demand in 2014 is for 2% growth, but the whisper numbers now call for growth of 5% and maybe more. Based on this month's survey of extruders and their customers, the whisper numbers are a possibility.
