Spintronic transport through an interacting Rashba dot

We investigate the spin-dependent transport property through a quantum wire with local Rashba interaction based on fRG method. The Rashba field forms quasi-bound states which couple to the continuum states with an opposite spin direction. It is found that the transport through the Rashba dot strongly depends on an assumed spin polarization of the continuum states and on the Coulomb interaction U in the dot. The interaction U (U > U-C) leads to the appearance of three conductance peaks. Two outer peaks are associated with the Coulomb blockade and the center peak is induced by correlation of the electrons with different spin.
