Invista Opens New Nylon 6,6 Facility At Shanghai Chemical Industry Park

Shanshai— Invista held a grand opening for its new 150,000-t/y state-of-the-art nylon 6,6 plant at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park in China (PCN, 25 Apr 2016, p 1). The nylon 6,6 facility is part of an approximately $1-billion project that includes a 215,000-t/y hexamethylene diamine facility, which was started up earlier this year.
