ChemChina Gets 26.2% Stake in Pirelli; Plans Tender Offer for Rest of Shares

Beijing—China National Chemical Corp. (ChemChina) has completed the acquisition of a 26.2% interest in Pirelli from holding company Camfin, reported Reuters. In April 2015, ChemChina said it would purchase the shares from Camfin at a price of ?15 per share and, following completion of the transaction, ChemChina, Camfin and other investors planned to make a joint offer for the remainder of Pirelli (PCN, 13 Apr 2015, p 4).
