Oxea Conducting Detailed Engineering For Propanol Production in Bay City

Dallas—Oxea said it is continuing with detailed engineering for a new propanol unit to be built at its Bay City, Texas, facility to better serve its North and Latin American customers. The unit, for which capacity was not disclosed, is scheduled to come on stream in late 2017. Key elements of the detailed engineering work will also be utilized for the construction of Oxea's future Asian oxo chemicals platform in Duqm, Oman. Oxea is owned by Oman Oil Co.
