Enterprise Adding 9th NGL Fractionator To Increase Capacity in Mont Belvieu

Houston-Enterprise Products Partners plans to build its ninth natural gas liquid (NGL) fractionator at its Mont Belvieu, Texas, complex, increasing capacity by 85,000 b/d as early as January 2016. With completion, Enterprise will have a total NGL fractionation nameplate capacity of 755,000 b/d at Mont Belvieu, as well as about 265,000 b/d of propane production capability, and total gross NGL fractionation capacity of about 1.2-million b/d. "Generally," the partnership noted, "the Hobbs fractionator and the last five fractionators built at Mont Belvieu have exceeded nameplate capacity."
