BASF Breaks Ground in Navi Mumbai For New Innovation Campus by 2017

Mumbai—BASF has begun construction on a new innovation campus in Navi Mumbai, India, that is expected to open in 2017 and accommodate about 300 scientists in such areas as polymer research, process development and crop protection. The company said it is investing about ?50-million, through its BASF Chemicals India Private Ltd. subsidiary, in the new BASF Innovation Campus (Mumbai), which will include synthesis, application, process and analytical laboratories, as well as technical facilities and logistics areas.
