Invista Develops Nylon 12 Technology; Expects Pilot Scale Production Soon

Wichita—Invista has announced the development of new nylon 12 monomer technology, on which it has several patents now pending. The company anticipates pilot scale production to begin soon. Invista said it will seek market input and feedback almost immediately and expects to begin product qualifications as early as 2015. After that, Invista will begin scale-up of the new process and prepare for full scale production.
