Pertamina Restarts Tuban Refinery Thru Tolling Agreement with TPPI

Jakarta—Pertamina has restarted Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indotama's (TPPI) Tuban refinery in East Java, Indonesia, for a period of six months as part of a tolling agreement between the two companies. TPPI suspended operations at Tuban about two years ago because of heavy debt and has since declared bankruptcy. Pertamina said the resumption of operations is intended to again give TPPI income through the tolling fee from the collaboration.
