Egypt Inaugurates EStyrenics Project; Country's 1st Polystyrene Production

Alexandria,— Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has inaugurated Egyptian Polystyrene Production Co.'s (EStyrenics) new polystyrene (PS) plant within the El Dekila port site in Alexandria (PCN, 2 May 2011, p 1). The 200,000-t/y PS facility is one of the country's national petrochemical projects and the first of its kind in Egypt, noted local sources.
