Ineos Bio JV Secures Industrial Gases With Contract Award to Air Products

Vero Beach—Ineos New Planet BioEnergy (INPB), a joint venture of Ineos Bio and New Planet Energy, has awarded Air Products a contract to supply onsite oxygen, compressed dry air and nitrogen for INPB's Indian River BioEnergy Center in Vero Beach, Fla. (PCN, 21 Feb 2011, p 4). The facility, the first in the world to use Ineos Bio's bio-energy technology, will produce 24,000 t/y of advanced bio-fuel and six megawatts of renewable power from yard, vegetative and household waste starting in mid-2012.
