EIA Sees US Oil Output Continuing Fall in September

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects oil output from the top seven US shale regions to fall by 85,000 b/d to 4.470 million b/d in September from 4.555 million b/d in August. The EIA expects the bulk of that decline to occur in the Eagle Ford Shale of South Texas, where it sees production falling by 53,000 b/d.
