Iran remains adamant it won't join any attempts to freeze oil production as it seeks to raise crude exports to 2.2 million barrels per day by August, a top oil official said ahead of Opec's planned meeting in Vienna on Jun. 2. "Iran has no plans to freeze the level of its oil production and exports as the country tries to raise its crude exports to pre-sanctions levels," Deputy Oil Minister Roknodin Javadi, who is also managing director of state National Iranian Oil Co. (NIOC), told Iran's Mehr News Agency Monday.
