Mexico Plans to Offer 10 Deepwater Blocks

Mexico's government is congratulating itself on the results of the latest phase of its year - long inaugural oil and gas bid round, in which upstream regulator CNH awarded all of the 25 small onshore fields that were offered. The government expects the new contracts to yield $1.12 billion in new investments and to eventually add 77,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day to national production.
