Venezuela: PDV Chief Will Also Serve as Oil Minister

The head of Venezuela's state - owned oil company, Eulogio Del Pino, has taken on the additional role of oil minister. The appointment was announced on national television by President Nicolas Maduro and was later confirmed by the country's oil ministry. Del Pino was put in charge of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDV) last September, after previously serving as the company's head of exploration and production ( OD Sep.4'14 ).
