Cimarex Issues Shares to Accelerate Permian Drilling

Cimarex Energy has offered further evidence that some US tight oil producers are starting to think seriously about ramping up their operations again. The Denver-based company said it plans to raise up to $750 million through an equity offering and will use some of the proceeds to "fund increased drilling and completion activity in the second half of 2015 and more significantly in 2016."
