CenterPoint Energy has formed a new subsidiary, CenterPoint Energy Bakken Crude Services, to develop a crude oil gathering and transportation system in Dunn and McKenzie counties, at the heart of North Dakota's booming Bakken tight oil play. The system will collect crude from multiple points in the two counties and transport it to interconnections with interstate markets. The company is conducting an open season through Mar. 29 to solicit binding long-term volume commitments of at least 1,000 b/d each from potential customers.
