New diamond core bit

Mineral exploration drilling company Boart Longyear's new diamond core bit, the 10 Ultramix (UMX), has been bought by several companies in Africa for mineral exploration since its worldwide launch in March. The company used its patented diamond coring technology to design the 10UMX, which can quickly penetrate the hardest rock formations, such as those ranked from eight to nine on the Mohs scale.
