Kodiak Adds to Bakken Acreage

Kodiak Oil & Gas said it will buy producingproperties and undeveloped leasehold in theWilliston Basin, North Dakota for about $235million in cash. Kodiak, which already owns as-sets in the area, will buy 13,500 acres of proper-ty from a private oil and gas company, expand-ing its acreage position in the Williston Basin tonearly 110,000 net acres (OD Aug.9’11).
