Sibanye trades higher on Johannesburg debut

SHARES in Sibanye Gold Ltd, which was spun off from Gold Fields Ltd, rose after its debut on the Johannesburg and New York stock exchanges. Gold Fields announced in November it would create Sibanye to hold two of its deep and labour intensive South African operations, KDC and Beatrix, following a review process and two months of illegal strikes at the mines.
