Iron ore prices are likely to become even more volatile, putting pressure on steel fabricators while end-user demand remains soft, an industry panel told delegates at Metal Bulletin's Middle East Iron & Steel conference in Dubai on December 13. Panel members included Shannon Hore of Emirates Steel, Ralph Leszczynski of Banchero Costa, Markus Petaja'niemi of LKAB, John Short of Newedge, and Olle Ostensson of Raw Materials Group.
