Iron ore prices rise to 65-66 dollars on better Chinese steel prices

Indian iron ore fines prices rose by around 1 dollars this week as steel prices in China and freight rates both rose. Prices for 63.5 percent Fe content Indian iron ore fines moved up to 65-66 dollars per tonne cfr Chinese ports. Bookings increased, especially in the later half of the week, and more business was concluded for medium to high-grade Indian fines than in previous weeks, said market participants.
