Yunnan to buy 180,000 tonnes of Al and 236,000 tonnes of zinc

China's Yunnan province plans to buy 180,000 tonnes of aluminium and 236,000 tonnes of zinc from smelters in the province, as part of its1 million tonne base metals buying spree. The reservation period will be 13 months, starting from December 1 last year. All the aluminium will be purchased from Yunnan Aluminium Co, the province's biggest aluminium producer, the economy ministry in Yunnan said.
