Only resource value will save junior miners from 'abyss'

Junior mining companies looking for finance in the troubled credit markets will have to prove the value of their resources and the strength of their managements to secure the cash to bring their operations on stream. Speaking at the Global Capital Conference, analysts and fund managers from Ambrian and the World Bank's International Finance Corp (IFC) stressed the importance of companies' assets and management as they warned that the consequences may be dire for companies that try to tap markets without proving their worth.
