LONDON - UK secondary aluminium and scrap prices drifted down again last week but general sentiment appears to have lifted somewhat on reasonable volumes and an acceptance that for the time being at least low prices are simply here to stay. Pressure die-casting LM24 fell to 1,220-250 founds on a delivered consumer works basis, down from 1,220-1,270 founds last week and LM6/25 ingot fell to 1,430-1,480 founds compared with a range of 1,450-1,500 founds previously.
