US exports of non-ferrous scrap plunged by almost 15 percent in November last year, driven down largely by a steep slide in sales of copper and brass scrap.Shipments to foreign buyers slipped to 99,183 short tons in November from 115,189 tons exported in October, the high point for the year and the best showing for US exporters of non-ferrous scrap in more than three years, according to the US Commerce Dept.
