Indonesian aluminium alloy producer PT HP Metals is planning to shift its attention away from the export market towards domestic sales as consumption prospects in the country continue to see further signs of improvement.The smelter, based in Mojokerto in East Java, is aiming to sell approximately 40 percent of its total output in the domestic market compared to last year's level of 20-25 percent, due mainly to an upturn in demand, a company official told MB. Export sales are expected to fall as a result of the worldwide economic slowdown.
