Veolia tops list for Staffordshire PFI deal

Veolia Environmental Services has been made the preferred bidder for Staffordshire County Council's 1 billion pounds waste PFI project. VES has proposed the use of an energy recovery facility to treat the waste, which will not only serve Staffordshire but will also assist Sandwell, Walsall and Warwickshire with their residual waste management needs.
