China: DAP price declines on soft demand

A range of new sales have pushed the low end of the Chinese DAP price below $300/mt FOB amid low demand and continued high production rates. Pakistan’s PakArab has now purchased a cargo of Chinese DAP believed to be from Yihua at $315/mt CFR or roughly $299/mt FOB, market sources report. Yichang Dongsheng recently sold a 30,000 mt DAP shipment to Pakistan's Jaffer Brothers and Multan as low as $312/mt CFR. This level represents roughly $297/mt FOB China.
