China: DAP/MAP exports remain down in May

China exported 516,416 mt DAP in May, a 27% decline on the same month in 2015. DAP exports to India were down 31% at 259,877 mt, while DAP exports to Vietnam declined by 9.6% to 87,702 mt. China's DAP exports between January and May declined 35% to 1.4 million mt. The most significant decline in exports was seen to India where Chinese DAP exports dropped 53% in the first five months of the year to 383,956 mt. Chinese DAP exports to Australia also declined by 53% to 50,919 mt.
