Spot prices for European sulphuric acid exports remained assessed at $5-15/mt FOB, while many in the market fretted over the export outlook for 2017. Brazil prices around $50/mt CFR with freights around $30/mt or slightly higher suggested potential for even higher netbacks, but no such levels have yet been confirmed, and other markets offered less attractive opportunities.
