Malaysia: Rock imports surge in April

Malaysia imported 40,498 mt phosphate rock in April, up more than fourfold on the same month a year earlier, according to IHS Global Trade Atlas. Around 62% of Malaysia's imports came from Senegal (25,020 mt) and 35% from Egypt (14,493 mt). For the first four months of 2016, Malaysia's rock imports were up 52% at 131,962 mt.
