Indian phosphoric acid buyers and OCP have yet to secure an agreed contract price for the second quarter, with price ideas still far apart. Indian buyers are looking to achieve a significant price decline with claims that buyers are currently looking for a $115-125/mt P2O5 price cut on the current $715/mt P2O5 CFR contract. This follows a recent cut in the Indian DAP nutrient based subsidy for 16/17 and recent declines in the DAP import price in India.
