Brazil: Producers confirm increased gMOP prices

Following a period of stabilisation, granular MOP prices in Brazil are assessed higher this week on the back of confirmed shipments to the country at $240/mt CFR. BPC said it had achieved prices of $240/mt CFR for April shipments. The Belarusian company is now targeting $250/mt CFR in May but said that buyers are hesitant to agree deals at this level currently. Vessels for potash shipment to Brazil within the next week and into April are increasing as farmers prepare for summer planting.
