India's Zuari has joined fellow importers IPL and CIL in having confirmed 2016/17 potash contract volumes with international suppliers. Importers have now finalised an aggregate total of around 3.75 million mt of firm contract MOP volumes between July 2016 and July 2017. Chambal and Deepak have not yet confirmed their quantities, though the former is also buying on a spot basis. Tata is also buying mostly spot volumes at the contract price of $227/mt CFR and will decide on whether to take on further tonnes in December.
