Global suppliers of urea, particularly those in the Middle East are anxiously awaiting news from Delhi on the possible clearance by the Department of Fertilizers (DoF) of a tender for urea to be issued by IPL pursuant to the awards made by STC in its May 19 session. While yet to be confirmed via affirmative action on the part of the DoF, reports from India continue to suggest that a tender is "imminent" despite the substantial urea inventory already in place.
