Prices for sales of sulphuric acid from East Asia remained assessed at -$15-5/mt FOB Japan/South Korea for spot and contract, as the lower prices for distressed cargoes seen earlier in Q2 were no longer available. Sources suggested that negative single digits were now more realistic for spot business, but most accepted that the current range was still acceptable pending further indications.
