Phosphate rock sales into India were reported at lower prices, while most suppliers continue to send rock on a provisional-price basis pending the new phosphoric acid contract. India's FACT is said to have bought one 40,000 mt rock (70-72% BPL) cargo from OCP in the low $130s/mt CFR with delivery in mid-June which would netback to roughly $115/mt FOB. This trade, coupled with other recent sales from OCP shows that 72% BPL sales reported from the company at around $140/mt FOB were likely made to the European market, with most of the company's 68-72% rock sales concluded in the $90-115/mt FOB range.
