Many of India's new contract and spot purchases of phosphate rock during the second quarter have been agreed on a provisional price basis pending the delayed phosphoric acid contract for Q2. Still, some of the agreements were previously made on a first-half basis and some new deals and prices have already been announced at slightly lower prices. The price for Jordan's 66-68% BPL contract with India's IFFCO was made on a H1 basis in late 2015 at $100/mt CFR or $90/mt FOB.
