Brazil: Calendar 2015 imports down 35.3% on 2014

Calendar 2015 imports of urea into Brazil declined 35.3% compared to 2014, reaching "a mere" 2.85 million mt. Arrivals from Qatar were nevertheless up by 32.7% on the prior year, to 1.46 million mt. Shipments originating in Russia were down by 42% to 468,000 mt while Kuwait, Oman and the UAE declined by 69%, 64% and 56% to 182,000 mt, 174,000 mt and 151,000 mt, respectively.
