Senegal: 2015 phosphate rock exports up 40%

Senegal's full-year phosphate rock exports increased 40% year on year to a record, according to the latest customs data via GTIS. January-December shipments reached 752,253 mt, up from the 535,527 mt exported in 2014. The average price achieved over the period was $76.22/mt, according to the GTIS data, up $8.95/mt from the same period a year earlier.
