January-May urea imports into Australia of 840,000 mt were up by 22.5% on the same period in 2016. Qatar accounted for 335,000 mt, up by 66%, and Saudi Arabia was ahead 12% to 189,000 mt while the UAE was down 24% to 99,000 mt. China at 83,000 mt was up from 10,000 mt, Malaysia was ahead 12.6% to 55,000 mt, Indonesia ahead 29% to 38,000 mt while Oman arrivals were down 60% to 36,000 mt.
