Discussions for 2017 sulphuric acid contracts to Chile continued, and many expect contracts to begin settling following LME Week, which begins at the end of October. Although sellers were pushing for prices into the $40s/mt CFR, few in the market believed such levels could be achieved, with many sources arguing that that best sellers could hope for was to keep prices above the $20s/mt CFR.
