Acid prices were mostly steady given a lack of activity,but persistent negative sentiment continued to haunt market participants. East Asian spot prices were again steady at$0-10/mt FOB Japan/South Korea given a lack of spot business and indications.Despite weak sentiment,sellers reported strong contractual offtake and were reluctant to consider what they considered to be low spot bids.Trade data showed that South Korea’s December exports increased 11%year on year to 284,193 mt,leaving full year exports up 3%at 3 million mt.
