Global: NPK prices decline on weak demand

Low demand has forced down Baltic Sea FOB values for 15-15-15 and 16-16-16 this week, according to traders. In China, limited export opportunity for granular phosphate players has forced some to diversify production into NPK for the domestic market. Coupled with a slowdown in demand for NPK this has further eroded the 16-16-16 import price, now quoted as low as $320/mt CFR.
