Europe: FOB assessment unchanged

The spot price assessment for sulphuric acid exports from Europe was again unchanged at $0-10/mt FOB Northwest Europe, as the market was relatively balanced. Sellers remained comfortable for now, but the restart of Aurubis' Pirdop smelter in Bulgaria, along with impending declines in demand from Cuba and Namibia, left more negative drivers in the market than positive. For now, other maintenances such as at KGHM are combining with strong offtake in North Africa to prevent any supply overhang.
