As suppliers continue to focus on domestic sales and await confirmation of the 2017 DAP export tax, new DAP export activity is slow from China. Producers continue to offer as high as $320-325/mt FOB but are seeing little interest with limited demand from key markets like Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent. Recent DAP deals to Pakistan and Central America were secured at around $310/mt FOB, while offers to India are said to be no lower than $325-330/mt CFR, or $310/mt FOB.
